I am currently attempting to plan a trip to LA then Japan in June 2013!!! CAN’T WAIT
“Aitken designed the table, which can be played like a xylophone.”
The house is the world’s first temple to “Acid Modernism,” the aesthetic the California-born Aitken conceived for himself and Gemma Ponsa, his companion of the last six years. “The goal was to create a warm, organic modernism that’s also perceptual and hallucinatory,” he said of the design. “We thought that would be a wonderful environment to live in.” (NYT)
Inbox, 2007. Amanda Ross-Ho (US, born 1975). Fiberglass and cat litter.
Amanda Ross-Ho’s work utilizes the residue of everyday life and the poetry of things overlooked. As she explains, “I’ve come to think of everything in the studio - from art materials, tools and source material, to trash and cat toys - as if it were organic material. I’m collaborating with things that have their own charge.” Inbox plays with popular culture and language as well as the traditions of appropriation and assemblage.

- Anonymous said:Hey there, I'm in a really complicated situation with my (ex?)boyfriend right now. We have a history of drama and exceptional moments, feeling a deep connection. 3 days ago we had an argument about personal space (he is missing) and commitment (I am missing) and he has left until friday. I am confused and wondering what to do and how to speak to him. I love him so much but I can't go on like that, because I feel like he puts everything above my feelings. So when do you know you have to let go?
If you love him so much but you feel like you can’t go on like that, then that’s when you know you have to let go. This problem he has still hasn’t...
